Builder Tips:
Verify appliance rough-in requirements early — especially for gas lines, downdraft vents, or large 220V connections. Allow 8+ weeks lead time on specialty items like built-in fridge columns or dual-fuel ranges. Most Utah builders request delivery to job site 1 week before finish install. Match appliance panel specs with cabinet builder if doing paneled fridge or dishwasher.

FAQ
Q: Are appliances included in the contractor’s budget?
A: Sometimes. Many Utah builders include a line-item allowance — typically $10K–$15K — or allow direct purchase by homeowner.
Q: Can I use a panel-ready fridge or dishwasher?
A: Yes — but coordinate sizing with cabinet maker. Panels are built and installed by the cabinet crew.
Q: Who installs appliances?
A: Delivery teams handle plug-ins. Plumbers and electricians connect water lines, vents, and gas hookups if needed.
Q: What about warranties?
A: Most vendors register warranty at delivery. Keep serial numbers and confirm builder installs don’t void coverage.
